I was supposed to have an interview tuesday. WE had agreed I’d head over right after the end of the work day. Its raining and for some reason people cant drive in the rain so the trip time doubled. WTF. I called and he said to reschedule for the next day , which he ended up being too busy. he said he would call back later to talk more and never did.

My boss leaves for Italy this wee k end so i’m on my own for next week. He is not all that interested in discussing stuff so I can keep myself busy next week. I don’ t feel like showing up, but still need to. Plan on seeing a lot from me next week.

side note: i had sushi for lunch and my farts could kill.

He might have just gotten sidetracked. While you’re on the clock, why not give him another ring? Ya never know, if all goes well you might be able to do a little dance on your way out the door while singing that diddy later today.

Then again, if you get hired while your current boss is away you can learn how to say “Fuck this shit I’m out” in Italian to great effect. Preferably using your current employers long distance.

As much as that sounds like a blow off, it might have been an auto-reply. Nothing ventured nothing gained... though you obviously don’t want to seem too desperate before salary negotiations.

Probably an auto reply then I’d imagine. Hopefully anyway.

Would waiting for him in his driveway this evening would be pushing it too far, or show just the kind of initiative he’s looking for? Or better yet, just show up early on Monday and demand to know where your desk is.
